As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you ensure that our international shipments meet all customs and trade regulations. You are the link between regulation and operations within CBS and Spring GDS.

Your Role
As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you ensure that our international logistics processes comply with all relevant customs and trade laws. You advise internal teams on compliance matters, monitor risks, and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and external partners. You develop policies and processes that enable safe, efficient, and compliant cross-border operations.
You’ll work closely with departments such as Operations, Legal, and IT to integrate compliance into our daily business. You identify trends in international trade regulations and translate them into concrete actions. In doing so, you strengthen the reliability and growth of our international e-commerce services.
Your Team
You’ll be part of the Global Network Development team within Cross Border Solutions (CBS) — PostNL’s international business unit. The team consists of around 15 specialists with expertise in logistics, business development, and compliance. Together, you work on innovative solutions that drive international e-commerce forward.

• A gross monthly salary between €4,865.51 and €6,890.53 (based on 39.25 hours per week).

What You Bring
You are analytical, precise, and able to make complex regulations understandable for others. You switch easily between policy and practice and communicate clearly across departments.
You also bring:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO level)
• At least 3 years of experience in trade compliance or customs affairs
• Strong knowledge of international trade legislation and customs procedures
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Experience with logistics processes and e-commerce operations
