Test the invisible. Ensure the reliability of complex backend integrations that drive one of the Netherlands’ most critical logistics systems. You will land at the Business IT department for Cross Border Solutions, which is the international division of PostNL. Within the CBS BIT, we support the platforms and applications that make the international business of PostNL thrive.

This is your role:

As Test Analyst – Integrations, you are responsible for validating the functionality, reliability, and robustness of backend integrations that power our logistics systems. 
You’ll define and execute tests for APIs, low-code flows, message transformations (JSON, XML, XSLT), and structured file exchanges. You’ll help analyze legacy applications, create test strategies, and work closely with developers to identify bugs early in the pipeline.
This role is suited for someone who thrives in data-driven, backend-focused environments where whitebox testing, logs, and logic are central.

Your colleagues:

You’ll join the Integration Team within CBS BIT, collaborating with developers, solution consultants, product owners, and business stakeholders. Together, you’ll ensure the seamless delivery of digital capabilities that underpin our cross-border logistics.

What we offer you:

• Gross monthly salary ranging from €4.030,- to a maximum of €5.554,- (scale 10), for a 37-hour work week. 
• Hybrid working: at least 2 days from home + €45 net monthly home office allowance
• 8% holiday pay and 25 vacation days (based on full-time)

What you bring:

• We’re looking for a curious, collaborative, and technically sharp test analyst who:
• Enjoys backend testing and structured data—you thrive in non-UI environments
• Has experience with structured formats like JSON, XML, XSLT
• Has done whitebox testing, log analysis, or low-code platform testing (e.g., Mendix, PEGA, Outsystems)
• Can work independently in under-documented or exploratory settings
• Has basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Postman, Python, or bash)
• Brings strong logical and analytical thinking
• Works closely with developers in cross-functional teams
• Ideally has experience in integration-heavy landscapes or backend-heavy applications
