Location: The Hague + hybrid
Hours: 39.25 hours per week
Salary: € 5,513.79 – € 8,014.79 (scale 12)

Shape the future of Platforms

In 2026, we’ll transition from Cross Border Solutions to Platforms. As Strategy Manager, you’ll make a real impact by advising senior management on the strategy that drives sustainable growth. You act as an internal consultant, turning insights into clear recommendations.


What will you do?

You’re part of the Strategy Development team with other Strategy Managers. Your role is all about creating clarity and direction:
  • Evaluate our portfolio and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop strategies for units, business models and departments.
  • Build business cases based on solid analysis—quantitative and qualitative.
  • Advise senior management with clear options and recommendations.
  • Engage colleagues across all levels to bring strategies to life.
You combine market and customer insights with financial impact to support profitable growth—both in existing and new business models.


Your environment

Platforms is our business unit for international growth through asset-light models. We focus on:
  • Accelerating international growth.
  • Keeping export flows in our networks in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Building a lean network with shared infrastructure, partner models and API-driven automation.
  • Driving platform-based growth with digital onboarding, plug-and-play tools and scalable IT.
We operate 20 locations worldwide, employ 1,300 colleagues and deliver to 192 countries. Together, we make e-commerce smarter.


What we’re looking for

You’re a strategic thinker who loves impact. You dare to challenge assumptions and validate ideas with real-life examples. You manage stakeholders with ease and understand the personal and professional impact of decisions. You structure complex problems and explain them clearly.
You also bring:
  • A Master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in strategy or consultancy.
  • Ability to work independently with little structure.
  • Experience in international logistics, supply chain or e-commerce.
  • Excellent English communication skills (another language is a plus).
