This is your role 

You’ll be the key player in optimising and future-proofing the Broker Platform—an essential application within our international digital supply chain. Your focus lies on improving stability and scalability to handle growing volumes and business demands. At the same time, you help consolidate multiple related applications into one integrated ecosystem, maximising synergies across PostNL International. 

On a daily basis, you translate business needs into smart IT solutions. You define user stories, advise on priorities, and write functional specifications. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and IT suppliers to turn strategy into results. Whether you're troubleshooting, improving usability or working on long-term innovations—your solutions make a direct impact on how PostNL delivers for its global clients. 

Your colleagues 

You’ll work in the Broker Platform team, part of the International Digital Supply Chain domain. The team consists of DevOps engineers, product owners and consultants who work together in agile sprints. The collaboration is hands-on and supportive, with plenty of room for new ideas and continuous improvement. You also connect regularly with business stakeholders and external IT partners. • Salary between €3971 and €6.307,28 gross per month (scale 11) based on 37 hours per week. But working 32 hours is possible too! 

• Hybrid working and flexible hours. Work two or more days from home? You'll receive a €45 net monthly allowance.

What you bring 

You have a strong understanding of both IT and business, which enables you to effortlessly connect with stakeholders, developers, and other colleagues. In this role, everything comes together: from technical expertise to communication skills. You are analytical, curious, and able to clearly translate complex issues into practical solutions. You also recognise yourself in the following requirements:

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, business informatics or systems engineering.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or a corporate IT environment.

• You have knowledge of software architectures, APIs, integrations, and data flows.

• You are familiar with Agile/Scrum and capable of creating technical documentation and solution diagrams.
