As an OT Security Engineer at PostNL, you are responsible for ensuring the security of our OT  systems. PostNL is currently leading a cybersecurity program divided into multiple security domains focuses on increasing the security maturity level both in IT and OT environments. The program includes security activities in the areas of network security, access management, vulnerability management, asset management.  

For this role specifically, we are looking for an OT Expert that is willing to take on the challenge and lead the OT Security Workstream. The workstream will includes the following activities:  

• Oversee the integration and commissioning of an OT Security Monitoring Solution (30%). 
• Work on developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures and processes (20%). 
• Collaborate with various teams to develop and enforce an effective OT Security Operating Model (15%). 
• Define and implement OT security controls aligned with the IEC 62443 and ISO 27001 standards (15%). 
• Collaborate with the Security Awareness Team to develop and deliver targeted OT security trainings (10%). 
• Work closely with the SOC & Incident Response team to test, improve, and refine PostNL's secuirty incident response plan (10%). 

In the long term you will design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive OT cybersecurity framework to protect PostNL  against evolving threats and ensuring operational availability and business continuity and act as an advisor within the PostNL CSO team and collaborate with other security specialists and cross-functional teams.

Salary: Between € 4,400 and € 6,300 gross per month (scale 11) for a 37-hour workweek. 

Flexibility: Space to work hybrid and arrange your hours flexibly. Work from home two days or more per week? You’ll receive a € 45 net monthly allowance. 

Vacation and holidays: 8% holiday pay and 25 vacation days if you work full-time. 

Travel expenses: Compensation for commuting costs.
