This is your role
As a Test Analist, within our department we call this role a Quality Assurance Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You are not just a tester, you are a quality advocate and automation champion embedded within a Scrum team.
You will:
- Design, build and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium (Java), Cypress (JavaScript), Appium, Rest Assured, and Cucumber (BDD)
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies early in the development cycle (Shift Left)
- Test across multiple layers: UI, API, integration, and mobile
- Integrate test automation into our CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable delivery
- Leverage BrowserStack for parallel execution across browsers and devices
- Join our Test Community of Practice and contribute to unified QA approaches across teams
- Promote Agile quality principles and continuous improvement
- Mentor junior QA engineers and coach teams in best testing practices
Your colleagues:
You’ll be part of one of our 15 Scrum teams within the Agile Release Train Consumer, consisting of developers, a PO, a Scrum Master, and you as the QA engineer. You will also join the QA Community, which includes a QA Lead and 5+ QA Engineers working toward standardizing testing practices across the release train. The atmosphere is informal, professional and focused on collaboration and improvement.

The top five benefits of your role:
- Gross monthly salary between €3,971.01 and €5,472.21 (scale 10, based on a 37-hour workweek)
- Freedom to work hybrid and set your own hours. Work from home two or more days a week? You’ll receive a net allowance of €45 per month.

What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer in an Agile environment Proven experience setting up or enhancing test automation frameworks
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, and Cucumber (BDD)
- Familiarity with Cypress (JavaScript) is a strong plus
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred), mocking, and test data management
- Strong knowledge of Agile Testing, Shift-left practices, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, and the Test Automation Pyramid
A proactive, communicative attitude with the ability to advise and guide development teams - Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and BrowserStack is a bonus
