Salary indication: €9,000 – €11,000 gross per month (full-time)

Your role
The Director Finance Intelligence is responsible for developing, maintaining, and challenging trusted insights that enable value-based decision-making and support Finance in steering the business toward its strategic goals. This includes promoting analytics and AI within Finance, ensuring a high-quality and consistent Finance data and reporting landscape, and aligning with other PostNL data domains. You act as domain lead for Finance data within PostNL’s data mesh, taking ownership of Finance data products and ensuring quality, standardization and alignment with other data domains across the organization. The goal is to make Finance data future-ready for AI and advanced analytics while actively connecting with business units to identify new data and process opportunities for efficiency and control.
In addition, the Director manages medium- to long-term projects and programs in change and data. These initiatives are complex and strategic, requiring careful planning and execution beyond standard organizational processes.
Finally, the Director oversees specific programs to execute, maintain, and safeguard the Finance strategy, including monitoring the strategy dashboard and orchestrating monthly Finance stand-ups. Beyond monitoring, you actively drive the Finance Strategy forward by stimulating forward-looking insights, challenging assumptions and keeping Finance focused on future value creation and transformation.
Your colleagues
You are a key member in the Finance Leadership Team and collaborate directly with the CFO and other Finance Directors. Together, you create a strong financial foundation and a data-driven organization. You lead a team of experts and work closely with business units PostNL-wide.

What you bring to the job
You are an experienced leader with a vision for Finance and data. You can translate strategy into action and guide teams through change. Additionally, you have:
• University-level education (WO)
• At least 8 years of experience in Finance and/or IT, data, and change management
• Knowledge of program and project management

• Experience with data governance, AI, and analytics
