Collibra Engineer
As our Collibra Engineer, you’ll help shape our data governance platform and connect business and IT. You will play a pivotal role in the integration of Databricks with Collibra and thereby make a direct impact on the strategy of PostNL!

Your role
As a Collibra Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the functional and technical configuration, administration, and maintenance of our Collibra platform. You’ll work closely with data stewards, data owners, and IT teams to ensure our data landscape is accurately reflected and governed.
You’ll configure and manage the Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC), including the operating model, workflows, business glossary, and data dictionaries. You’ll also develop technical integrations with source systems, configure the Collibra Data Quality server, and build workflows and APIs to enhance platform functionality.
In addition, you will work closely with Data Architects to design data products in Collibra and playing an important role in implementing Data Product Management.
Your colleagues
You’ll join the Central Data Management team, part of our Enterprise Data Management (EDM) department. This team includes data management consultants and technical specialists who work together to embed good data practices across the company. You’ll collaborate with both functional and technical Collibra teams. Good to know that at PostNL we work with DevOps teams which deliver their work via Agile Release Trains. You will be part of both the Agile rituals of the technical and functional Collibra teams which are part of our larger Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team.

- Salary between €4.521 and €6.402 gross per month (scale 11) for 37 hours per week. Working 32 hours is also possible

What you bring to the job
You’re a proactive and analytical team player who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with both business and IT stakeholders. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra DGC, including Data Catalog, Business Glossary, and Policy Manager.
- Strong functional experience of Collibra; you know your way through the tooling, can configure workflows, webpages, etc.
- We’re transition towards Data Mesh products, ideally you have experience with Collibra Data Product Management, if not, then a strong understanding of Data Products is required
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Data Governance and Management
- Programming and scripting skills, in for example Python, Java, or Groovy. Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or data warehouse platforms like Databricks is a significant plus
